coming down hard again
        tonight She won't stop bawling

    She keeps pouring her tears all over me

  still sopping wet 

sobbing
gasping for air between sheets of sorrow
      we

      descend 

  pushed

 and

 pulled

    under 

  drowning 

 within

  screaming 

 under

     water

 emotions of the Earth 

 drop on heads

                 shoulders and toes

sink into hearts 
 drip 

 from

  tips

 of lashes

leaves

 fingers

nose

She reabsorbs 

 Herself

 thunder and fears decrescendo

  still weeping 

 softly surrendering sound 
   hidden hopes seep through vacancies in the canopy

love 
soaks beneath skin 

and drenches solitude
